Your situation is not hopeless!!!

A hopeless situation is one where there is absolutely no prospect of good or success. A hopeless situation is one that can also be looked at from the perspective of one that is not vulnerable to any known treatment or solution. When we talk about such a situation, we are referring to a despairing, desolate, miserable, despondent or inconsolable situation; a situation that is incapable of salvation, deliverance or improvement. A hopeless situation can also be looked at from another perspective and this is referred to as a desperate situation. When we talk about a desperate situation, we are referring to one that gives no ground whatsoever for hope. The third kind of hopeless situation is an impossible situation; a situation that is unmanageable. As I examined the various definitions of hopelessness, I came to the conclusion that it is in fact any situation that is contrary to the word of God or the promise of God concerning someone’s life. The term hopeless can be applied to life, job situation, the work of “ministry,” academics, business, marital, and so on. The question that comes to mind here is this: What is that situation in your life that has been giving you that impression of hopelessness’ What has the enemy been using to convince or sow doubts in your heart about the awesome and miraculous power of God’ Time has come for us as born-again children of God to start thinking like God, speaking like God, and acting like God. It is only when we do this that our life situations will begin to change. Glory to God, Alleluia! “When God began creating the heavens and the earth, the earth was a shapeless, chaotic mass, with the Spirit of God brooding over the dark vapors” (Gen. 1:1-2, TLB). To create means to make, to put together, to bring into being or existence, to produce something unique that is not made by everyday course of action. To brood on the other hand refers to contemplating (thinking over), meditating, musing, pondering (considering), reflecting, ruminating over something. Brethren, what is the current situation in your life’ Do you take time out to sit down and contemplate on how great and awesome God is’ We are heirs of the kingdom of God and it is high time for us to put a stop to worrying over issues and start brooding over them. According to Bro. Emma Okorie (Apostle/President Living Word Ministries), the Holy Spirit is an expert in brooding over chaotic, shapeless, and impossible situations. Time has come for us to start brooding over our lives. We need to put ourselves and lives in the place of the earth as God embarked on creation. I am talking about everything that appears currently chaotic and shapeless roundabout your live. The Bible records that the earth was a shapeless and chaotic mass. How deep can that be’ A situation that appears desolate, miserable, and despondent, without any prospect of good or success. A desperate situation that appears incapable of receiving any form of salvation, deliverance or improvement from any source. If this is the situation that you appear to be currently undergoing, you are in the right place and position to receive a supernatural touch and visitation from God. There is nothing going on in your life at this very moment that is a surprise to God. Your life has already been mapped out, planned and executed by God. You are a mobile miracle, a volcanic miracle that needs to be let loose by the LORD your God if you can only believe; for all things are possible to them that believe. “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” (Ephesians 3:20, KJV).  Brethren, this God who we serve remains a great and mighty God. This God is has the ability to accomplish what our human minds are unable to comprehend. Our God has the ability to do things that not only exceed whatever we are able to ask, but also what we can ever think, imagine or even consider. The power of the Holy Ghost that dwells inside of every born-again child of God is an awesome power. No wonder our LORD Jesus Christ stated that all authority and power in heaven and on earth has been given over to him; left at his disposal, OMG! When one understands a teeny weeny bit about God and what the power of God is capable of accomplishing, living and facing everyday life challenges become something to look forward to, Alleluia! God has the supreme power that is capable of changing any and every situation. Apostle Paul came to this understanding in 2 Corinthians 12:8-10, NLT that made him declare thus: “Three different times I begged the LORD to take it away. Each time he said, my grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness. So now I am glad to boast about my weakness (to bring my weaknesses out into the open), so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong (because the power of God takes over).” One thing I am beginning to notice as I walk with God is that as long as I continue to believe in my heart that I am strong enough on my own to overcome any difficult situation I come across, God will always sit back and watch as I labor to no avail. As I looked at my life as well as the lives of others, I started to see where most of us miss out on getting what we should have received from God a long time ago. It takes one who recognizes that God is God and that with him all things are possible to be able to slow down and quietly withdraw allowing God to glorify himself. When the LORD Jesus Christ began his ministry here on earth, the Bible records in John 3:30, NLT that John the Baptist made this confession about the LORD: “He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less.” In other words, I have to give way to let the LORD work out his purpose in my life. It is only then that every situation that has in time past proved too difficult will begin to break down. Then and only then will every mountain that has been on my way will begin to give way in Jesus’ name. Then and only then will I be able to take hold of the fact that with God, there is no hopeless situation. Glory to God, Alleluia! “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers; all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist” (Col. 1:16-17, KJV). Why do we as creations of God allow ourselves to be lied to, deceived, and dragged all over by the enemy whose stock-in-trade is deception’ Why do we allow ourselves to fall into a life of doubts, constant worrying, and self-pity’ Let us look at who we claim to be worshipping to see if there is any reason for us to continue to deny ourselves the joy of the LORD that happens to be our strength. By this same God whom we claim to worship, everything that has been created irrespective of their location, ability, or potency were brought into existence by God who is before all things and by whom all things consist. Glory to this awesome God, the Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, and the One who owns the power of Resurrection and Creation, Alleluia! “But Moses told the people, don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the LORD rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. The LORD himself will fight for you. Just stay calm” (Exodus 14:13-14, NLT). Is it not time for you to stand still’ Have you not struggled for so long with almost nothing to show for it’ When are you going to slow down and give yourself a break’ God is asking you today to let go and allow him to fight this battle. This God has never lost any battle and yours is not going to be the first one. Your situation is not as bad as that of the Israelites when they left the land of Egypt after 450 years of servitude, deprivation and despondency yet, God is asking you today to allow him deliver you. Brethren I tell you today that every red sea standing on your way as an obstacle is about to part in the name of Jesus, Amen. “And when he had thus spoken, he cried out with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with grave clothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, loose him, and let him go” (John 11:43-44, KJV). It does not matter how hopeless your situation may appear to be even now. What I am telling you today is that there is a power that is able to raise that dead business, ministry, child, womb, education, finances, marriage, spiritual life and relationship to life again. The same power that raised Lazarus from death is here to turnaround that hopeless situation in your life. That same power of God; the power of the Holy Ghost is here to do you good in the name of Jesus. Open wide your arms and receive from the LORD your God in the name of Jesus. “For with God nothing shall be impossible” (Luke 1:37, KJV). How can your situation be hopeless when you have a God with whom nothing is impossible’ Arise and reach out to your God for it is time to receive: Looking unto Jesus; the Author and Finisher of your faith. “Then he answered and spake unto me saying, this is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts” (Zachariah 4:6, KJV). It is time to remove your focus from the natural and begin to look unto God. The solution and miracle is not going to come forth from the physical, there has to be a spiritual orchestration in the realm of the supernatural for the promise of God in your life to come into physical existence. It is written in Heb. 11:3, NLT that: “By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.” In other words, calling forth those things that are not as if there are. Have a God blessed, miracle and testimony filled week in Jesus’ name, Amen.
